"Our goal is to create a beloved community and this will require a qualitative change in our souls as well as a quantitative change in our lives." Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Thank you for visiting All About Community. All About Community is dedicated to building the beloved community, one person, one organization, one community at a time.
One Person
Our goal is to help people identify the steps necessary in their lives to envision the beloved community and to then take those steps. We help individuals create personal mission statements, develop daily practices in self-care, see and understand their place in the world and create visions for their lives.
One Organization
We help organizations and groups to enhance their administrative capacities and build stronger teams. We help boards, staff and volunteers to give their best gifts of service to their organizations by being more self loving, self actualized and living from a place of greater consciousness.
One Community
In All About Love, bell hooks uses M. Scott Pecks definition of community as a group of people who have learned how to communicate honestly with each other, whose relationships go deeper than their masks of composure, and who have developed some significant commitment to rejoice together, mourn together and to delight in each other, and make others conditions our own. We can help you to create such a community.
Our Clients Clackamas Womens Services, Linn-Benton Community College, Mt. Hood Community College, Multnomah County Library, Oregon Food Bank, Pacific University, Portland Community College, Portland Public Schools, State of Oregon Affirmative Action Office, YWCA of Portland, Oregon Commission on Voluntary Action and Service and the City of Portland.
